Welcome to Easy Realty. The Easy Realty Quick Start Guide gives new agents one place to start, with the essential systems, resources, policies, and procedures you need to get up and running with the brokerage.

There is a lot available to you as an Easy Realty agent, but you do not need to learn everything at once. What you do need to know is where to start, where to find things, and where to go when you need help.

This Easy Realty Quick Start Guide covers the essentials.

Start With EasyMail

Your first step is to access your EasyMail account.

Your @easy.realty email address is your corporate brokerage email account. Add it to the phone, computer, tablet, and other devices you regularly use so you don’t miss important communications.

Your EasyMail account is also an important part of getting set up with other Easy Realty systems, including Slack.

Do this first:

  • Log into EasyMail.
  • Make sure you can send and receive email.
  • Add the account to the devices you regularly use.
  • Check it regularly for brokerage communications.

EasyMail should become part of your normal working day as an Easy Realty agent.

Join Easy Realty on Slack

Once your EasyMail account is working, the next step is Slack.

Use your @easy.realty email address when setting up your Slack account.

Slack is where Easy Realty agents can stay connected with the brokerage and each other. You’ll see announcements, discussions, operational updates, questions, and other day-to-day information there.

Don’t just create the account. Install Slack on the devices you use and make it somewhere you actually check.

Bookmark the Agent Hub

The Agent Hub is your home base at Easy Realty.

Rather than trying to remember different websites, documents, forms, and resources, start with the Agent Hub.

It gives you access to important brokerage resources, including:

  • Policy Hub for brokerage policies and procedures
  • Document Hub for brokerage forms and documents
  • Knowledge Hub for instructions and information
  • Education for training and professional development
  • Support when you need assistance
  • Brokerage news, updates, and other agent resources

Bookmark the Agent Hub. You will use it again.

Read the Brokerage Policies

Take some time early in your relationship with Easy Realty to review the brokerage policies.

You don’t need to memorize an entire policy manual. You do need to understand the policies that affect the way you conduct brokerage business and know where to find the current requirements when you need them.

The Policy Hub inside the Agent Hub should be your starting point when you need to know the brokerage’s current rule or procedure.

If you’re unsure whether something is permitted or how something should be handled, check the policy rather than guessing.

Understand Transaction Reporting

One of the most important things to understand from the beginning is when the brokerage needs documents from you.

At a high level, remember these four events:

When You Take a Listing

Send the brokerage the executed listing agreement.

Don’t wait until the property closes to tell us about the listing.

When an Offer Is Accepted

When your buyer gets an offer accepted, or an offer is accepted on one of our listings, send the brokerage the executed contract.

This lets the brokerage know that the property is under contract and a transaction is underway.

When the Closing Date Changes

If the contractual closing date changes, notify the brokerage and provide the executed extension or other applicable addendum documenting the change.

This helps ensure that the brokerage’s information stays aligned with the actual transaction.

When the Transaction Closes

At closing, send the brokerage the remaining disclosures and other required transaction documents so that the brokerage file can be completed.

For the complete requirements, refer to the current Transaction Reporting & Document Submission Policy in the Policy Hub.

A simple way to remember it:

Listing → Contract → Changes → Closing

Those are the major points when you should be thinking about what needs to be reported or submitted to the brokerage.

Florida Agents: Start With the Brokerage Relationship Disclosure

If you are practicing real estate in Florida, understanding brokerage relationships and the applicable disclosure requirements should be one of the first things you learn.

Don’t treat brokerage relationship disclosure as something to think about after you’ve already started preparing an offer or advising a consumer.

The Document Hub contains the brokerage’s current Florida brokerage relationship disclosure document. Use the current brokerage-approved version and review the related brokerage guidance and policies so you understand when and how it should be used.

The important habit is simple:

Establish the brokerage relationship correctly at the beginning.

Don’t wait until you’re deep into a transaction to deal with it.

Use the Document Hub

When you need a brokerage form or document, start with the Document Hub.

Rather than relying on something you downloaded months ago, something another agent sends you, or a version sitting in an old folder, check the Document Hub for the brokerage’s current resource.

This is especially important for brokerage-specific documents that may be updated over time.

Use the Knowledge Hub

If the question isn’t “What’s the policy?” but instead “How do I do this?”, check the Knowledge Hub.

Think of the distinction this way:

Need the rule? → Policy Hub

Need the document? → Document Hub

Need to know how something works? → Knowledge Hub

That simple distinction will usually get you to the right place quickly.

Read the Agent Journal

The Agent Journal is Easy Realty’s publication specifically for agents who have already joined the brokerage.

You’ll find agent-focused articles, information, education, brokerage resources, and practical guidance designed to help you operate and grow your business with Easy Realty.

It’s worth checking regularly as new material is published.

When You Don’t Know Where to Start, Ask EasyBot

You don’t need to remember where every document, policy, procedure, or resource lives.

That’s one of the reasons we have EasyBot.

If you’re trying to find something or have a question about an Easy Realty process, EasyBot is a good place to start.

EasyBot: 866-966-3144

A useful rule of thumb:

  • Have a general question? Ask EasyBot.
  • Need instructions? Check the Knowledge Hub.
  • Need a document? Check the Document Hub.
  • Need the official brokerage rule? Check the Policy Hub.
  • Need assistance from the brokerage? Use the appropriate support resource.

Easy Realty Quick Start Guide: Three Resources to Remember

If all of this feels like a lot on your first day, don’t worry about memorizing everything.

Start with three things:

EasyMail

Your @easy.realty corporate brokerage email account.

Set it up on your devices and check it regularly.

Agent Hub

Your central starting point for brokerage resources, documents, policies, knowledge, education, support, and operational information.

Bookmark it.

Agent Journal

Ongoing information and educational content specifically for Easy Realty agents.

Keep This Easy Realty Quick Start Guide Handy

You don’t need to know everything about Easy Realty on day one.

Get EasyMail working. Join Slack. Bookmark the Agent Hub and familiarize yourself with the Policy Hub, Document Hub, and Knowledge Hub. Understand the basic transaction-reporting requirements. Read the Agent Journal. And when you’re not sure where to go next, ask EasyBot.

The objective isn’t to memorize the brokerage.

It’s to know where to find the answer when you need it.
